How to care for your jewellery:
Important! Each piece of jewellery is made with love and care using precious metals and gemstones,
any they are precious, and need care. From stunning gemstone rings to delicate gold chains, we want
you to keep them in the best condition. That's why we've put together some guidelines for you to help
your jewellery keep shining brightly.
●Always put Jewellery on after dressing, applying make-up, perfume,aftershave, hairspray etc. Chemicals can tarnish and damage Gold, Gold Plate, Silver and Gemstones.
●Remove Jewellery when doing housework, gardening, sports etc. Such activities could result in accidentally damaging your items by catchingand breaking chains, loosening claws, denting the metal and chippinggemstones. Do not sleep in your Jewellery.
●Remove Jewellery before swimming, showering, using saunas or hot tubsetc. Sudden changes in temperature and chemicals such as chlorine, shampoo,shower gel etc. can damage metals and gemstones.
●Give your Jewellery a light clean after wearing. This will remove any oils, moisturizer's, perfumes etc. and keep your Jewellery looking new for longer. Use a simple cotton polishing cloth or soft acid-free tissue. For a more intense clean, use warm, mild soapy water and a soft toothbrush, then rinse with clean warm water and dry with soft acid-free tissue before storing. For tarnished silver Jewellery, it's best to use a Silver Cloth specially designed to remove residue and tarnish on Silver. ●If your Jewellery pieces are particularly old or delicate, please proceed with caution and take it to your local Jeweller. They will be able to assess the piece and carry out a professional clean if appropriate.
● I have a sonic Jewellery cleaner, is there anything I cannot clean like this?
Yes – Do not use the sonic cleaner for items containing pearls or Opals Tanzanite, Coral, Amber, Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli at any time. ● With cleaning fluid Diamonds, Aquamarine, ● Without cleaning fluid Emeralds, Ruby's and Sapphires
